Minerva attends the DNV


        Greek Technical Commitee




        DNV welcomed the key stakeholders of the Greek shipping community
        to share insights on the latest industry trends, during its latest DNV
        Greek Technical Committee.

        Sokratis Dimakopoulos, Chief Operating Officer of Minerva participated
        in the Committee, where he had the chance to highlight the importance
        for an organization to establish, maintain and continually evolve its
        safety culture with the aim of effectively managing its safety risks.
        He presented the main programs and initiatives being implemented
        at Minerva for this purpose. These include exhibiting visible and felt
        leadership, personnel training and competence development, the
        establishment of a safety learning organization, “care for people” and
        wellbeing initiatives, “open reporting” platforms, phycological safety
        and behavioral-based safety programs, personnel and vessel safety
        awards, and, finally, a regular safety culture assessment.
