guard, into a mobile “health bomb.”
One of our biggest concerns has been how to handle our human resources while contin-
uing to perform everyday tasks and minimizing the risk of infection.
At Diaplous, we have been doing our utmost, wisely using all resources available to
safeguard the health of both shore-side personnel and crews at sea by applying specific
procedures such as pre-boarding tests, further tests while onboard or at the office,
and sample tests after disembarkation, while simultaneous monitoring the health of all
guards, with the priority of being proactive.
Our experienced multinational personnel from multiple countries are bound by con-
tracts in the same way as seafarers. Thus, we have followed all relevant procedures to
ensure that all our armed guards are vaccinated according to nationality.
A substantial percentage of armed guards have already been vaccinated. We continue
our efforts in this respect in order to keep global trade flowing during this period of
extended restrictions.
The coronavirus pandemic is an extraordinary situation. We need to focus on proactivity,
adaptability, and building efficient strategies.
