Minerva Gas Inc. and Minerva Marine Inc. were awarded the ISO/IEC 27001 certification
by the classification society DNV, during the Posidonia Exhibition. The ISO certification
recognises Minerva’s commitment to maintaining a robust information security man-
agement system, highlighting our ongoing efforts to protect sensitive information and
ensure the highest standards of data security within our company.

“Shipping Intelligence at the Edge:
Artificial vs Human”
In the context of the Posidonia Exhibition,
the “Shipping Intelligence at the Edge: Artifi-
cial vs Human” Conference took place on 1
June, organised by the University of Piraeus’
School of Maritime & Industrial Studies. The
conference was hosted onboard the H/S/F
KNOSSOS PALACE of Minoan Lines.
The conference's first session, titled “Hu-
man Intelligence vs Artificial Intelligence:
Define the Boundaries,” featured insights
from Stefanos Stylianos, Minerva’s HSQ &
Marine Manager/DPA, among other distin-
guished speakers. Mr Stylianos, drawing
on his expertise, contributed to a lively
discussion on the evolving roles of human
intelligence and artificial intelligence within
the maritime industry.
