MINERVA IN FOCUS Digital innovation in shipping
As a commercially and technologically forward-looking
company, Minerva treasures the wellbeing of all seafarers
who work across the globe and around the clock. The
world goes around thanks to all the people onboard, and
as part of the company's wellbeing strategy, Minerva is
constantly striving to improve their living conditions. We
want our people to feel at home onboard.
Under this notion, the company’s top priority is to improve
fleet communications. The deployment of the Starlink
solution across all Minerva fleets offers a new range of
operational capabilities.
After a brief trial period on three vessels, the official
deployment of Starlink across the entire Minerva fleet
commenced in January 2024. Thanks to the excellent
collaboration of our vessels and all involved parties, the
project was successfully completed by the end of June,
counting more than 75 installations in less than six months!

Unveiling Starling and its potential
Starlink is the world's first and largest satellite constellation

Starlink's satellite internet service offers transformative
benefits for the maritime industry, enhancing connectivity,
operational efficiency, crew welfare, and overall safety,
while reducing costs and supporting the adoption of new
technologies.
