SEFİNE SHIPYARD INCREASING ITS SHIPYARD CAPACITY

SEFİNE Shipyard, Turkey’s premier shipyard, has started to expand its plant in Yalova, Turkey. It has acquired land
along SEFİNE Shipyard to build facilities, including a 2200 meter quay, which will increase the yard's capacity.
Since its foundation, SEFİNE Shipyard has repaired more than 900 vessels for regional and international
ship-owners. It is one of the largest yards in Turkey, with 4500 employees, including subcontractors. The company
invests in human capital and workforce development with ongoing in-house development programs to
broaden the abilities of its personnel and make them multi-skilled.

Currently, the yard operates a Post- Panamax size graving dock and an Aframax size floating dock with a repair
capacity of about 100 vessels per year. To this date, the yard has installed 90 ballast water treatment systems
and 25 scrubbers.

Due to the ongoing worldwide Covid -19 pandemic, SEFİNE Shipyard continues to take a variety of measures to
combat the spread of the virus, such as installing air purifiers and following a thorough disinfection procedure
from the beginning of the Covid-19 breakout, and until now, it has completed all repair projects on schedule
without delay.
