Ch. Officer Nikolaos Fasolas of M/V DOUKATO receiving the MINERVA DRY Per-
sonnel HSSE Award Q3 2022 from the vessel’s Master, Capt. Grigorios Lipiridis.
Mr. Fasolas stated: “I am extremely honored to receive the Personnel HSSE
Award. I am earnestly grateful for the recognition I have received for my
work, and I am sure that every other nominee was equally capable of
winning. I am humbly thankful to the team who selected me for this award.
Thank you for motivating me to continue having the highest dedication to
this job. The biggest honor goes to my fellow team and Minerva Dry since
they have enabled me to get this far.”
2nd Officer Abbie Pasaquian of M/T MINERVA LYDIA being
handed the MINERVA MARINE Personnel HSSE Award Q3
2022 by the vessel’s Master, Capt. Manuchar Sichynava.
Mr. Pasaquaian said: “The key to pursuing excellence is to
embrace an organic, long-term learning process and not
to live in a shell of static, self-mediocrity. Usually, growth
comes at the expense of previous comfort.”

Ch. Engineer Emmanouil Matthaiakis (7 years with

Officer Trainee (7 years with Minerva) at Marios’s wedding
reception.
Mr. Emmanouil Matthaiakis, a seasoned seagoing Engineer
who has devoted 40 years to the profession, displayed
commendable skills, professionalism, and leadership
during his last journey onboard M/T MINERVA ZEN.
We want to thank the Matthaiakis family for their trust
and loyalty to Minerva and their diligent work and devo-
tion to the values of seamanship. We wish the newlyweds
a lot of happiness!
