We created PPG SIGMA SAILADVANCE RX AND GX especially to save energy and lower total
operational costs. On contact with water these coatings create a slippery surface that resists
the settlement of shell and weed fouling during idle periods and also reduces hull friction when
the ship is sailing. This is thanks to PPG’s patented self-polishing binder technology built on
Controlled Surface active Polymers.
